Established in 1964, Tucker Technology, Inc. has built on its successes to become one of the leading industrial and aerospace subcontractors in Georgia. Located in the Atlanta metroplex, Tucker Technology has become a trusted supplier to local industry. From prototype tooling and parts to production parts, major assembly jigs, and aircraft bulkheads. From the smallest to the largest, from the simple to the complex, Tucker Technology has a proven record of capability in providing the whole package.

CAD datasets or paper drawings, through delivered product, Tucker Technology has the expertise and experience to deliver on time. Management, shop foremen, and technical support personnel bring an average of 15 to 20 years of on-the-job experience to every order. With this experience, and degrees in Engineering, Industrial Technology, and Computer Science, this team provides the full range of skills required in today’s environment. This experienced management team is backed up and supported by a highly skilled group of machinists who each bring an additional 10 to 20 years of experience. Employees have been kept up to date with training from equipment manufacturers and have received specialized training in quality.

Tucker Technology has over 30 years of experience in 3, 4, and 5 axis programming and machining. By growing and changing with industry, Tucker Technology has developed an excellent experience base in the latest versions of CATIA. Our NC programmers each have thousands of hours of experience programming from, and creating, CATIA datasets and other CAD packages as well. Vericut software is used to verify each part program before risking valuable material and machine time. This experience, and capabilities with complex surfaces and solids modeling, greatly reduces the number of trials involved and the time required for complex 5 axis programming. CAD systems and NC machines are networked to make use of DNC machining to help shorten the cycle time from design to completed parts.

DNC is also used for Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) at Tucker Technology. CMM inspection for Tucker Technology is programmed independent of the NC machining program to ensure objective third party review and no potential xpassing alongx of errors. DNC of CMM inspection is another way Tucker Technology reduces product cycle time.

Tucker Technology investments have been responsive to customer’s changing needs. To remain responsive and meet customer’s needs, Tucker Technology purchased a very large, multi-spindle, 5 axis machining capability. Very good machine installation, maintenance, and technical operations expertise allows Tucker Technology to efficiently acquire and implement new equipment to help a customer obtain a difficult to find supplier capability. Today, Tucker Technology can supply complex 5 axis parts from 6 inch GPS Antenna Groundplanes to 12 foot Bulkheads for fighter aircraft and with room left to grow. For your tooling requirements, Tucker Technology can meet your needs from Form Dies and Drill Jigs to Major Assembly Fixtures.

Quality systems are another area where Tucker Technology has been responsive to the evolving requirements of industry. Tucker Technology is ISO9001:2000 certified with a quality system that can be easily structured to comply with various companies’ specific requirements. This quality system is an integral part of project management and daily business in all areas. Management tracks orders from receipt through purchasing, planning, manufacturing and delivery.

Part Design, Tool Design, NC Programming, small to very large 5 axis machining capability, part/assembly fabrication, tooling fabrication, CMM Inspection, Theodolite Inspection, Quality Assurance and Program Management - Tucker Technology can meet your requirements with quality products delivered on time.
