All Tucker Technology dies are design on CAD CAM systems with great emphasis on the incorporation of features such as interchangeable replacement parts. We have the capability to download, translate and program in most file formats, including CATIA, UNIGRAPHICS, INGES and STEP. We also have the capability to work from your manual drawings, from your CAD CAM drawings which we can download form your FTP site, or we can produce reverse engineered drawings from your existing parts.
Tooling, Process & Control
All tooling produced by Tucker Technology goes through try out in our own presses. Our try outs represent real-world usage and our facilities feature 32 presses with up to 1000 ton capacity, mimicking our customers’ production lines. We also utilize these facilities to provide production stamping on a limited basis.
The Tucker Technology EDM department boasts six machines, capable of producing the precision interchangeable parts needed to eliminate customer downtime when last minute engineering changes are required. These machines also allow Tucker the capability of providing quick standard repair and maintenance on existing tools. Our EDMs feature much greater cutting area than most of our competitors, with large XYZ limitations of 40 x 20 x 20 inches in one setup, and taper cutting as an additional option.
We also have a variety of 3, 4, and 5 axis vertical and horizontal machining centers with capacities up to 85 ft x 14 ft. Thirty year experience with these multi-axis systems allows us to produce the most complex parts without complicated fixturing or multiple setups, and to the most exacting tolerances. Our quality control department features Coordinate Measuring Machines with capacities up to 75 x 56.25 x 55.75 inches. These facilities assure fast and accurate verification of parts produced.
